Joshua moved to Malabar, Florida in 2000 from New York after retiring as a telephone technician from
Lucent Technologies where he had worked for 30 years.
Joshua always put his family first and loved them dearly. He was a hard worker, a die hard New York Yankees fan and enjoyed watching old Western movies in his spare time. His favorite meal was salted cod fish with cornmeal and okra. He loved gospel music.
He is survived by his wife of six years, Binta J. Quinland; his sons, Michael Quinland and Roger Quinland both of New York; five grandchildren: Taylor, Trevor, Alanis, Vanessa, and Corey; and many nephews and nieces. Joshua is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Adina Quinland; three brothers: Samuel Quinland, Walter Quinland, and Fitzroy Quinland; and one sister, Josephine.
