Karen V Gonzalez

Karen Victoria Gonzalez, 58, of Grant-Valkaria, passed away Wed. Feb. 22, 2012 in Grant-Valkaria. She was born Mar. 15, 1953 in Savannah, GA. Karen owned and operated her own pet grooming business in Suntree for many years. She was a member of the Scottsburg Moose Lodge in Scottsburg, IN. Karen loved to cook, shop, can fresh food from her garden and play cards with her family and friends.

“Nana,” as Karen was lovingly known by her family, was a beloved mother to her two daughters, Amber Irvin (husband Sean) and Christine Rojas (husband Jimmie), wife to her husband Michael, and “Nana” to her five beautiful grandchildren.

In addition, she is survived by her four brothers, John, Steve, Jeff and Bob Spaulding.

She will be missed and loved by all that knew her.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Health First or Bright Star of Health First.

Friday, March 9, 2012, 10:00am in the open service area behind The Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Fountainhead Memorial Park. Inurnment will follow the service. Please dress casual. The family will host a gathering and receive visitors at the home of Sean and Amber Irvin immediately following.
