

Katherine (Kat) Mary Stone, 48 years of Palm Bay, Florida died October 10, 2025, at her home. She fought the pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer with strength and unwavering tenacity until she took her last breath. The impact she had while on this earth is beyond any words.
Kat was born on December 31, 1976, to Susan and Lawrence Stone in Miami, Florida. Kat attended Brevard Community College earning an Associates of Science degree and became licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in 2004. She worked for HealthFirst and Mission Hospital for over 20 years as a Respiratory Therapist; significantly impacting her patients and associate coworkers. Her years of service providing unparalleled care for all lives she touched was unmatched.
She married Holly Keller on April 16, 2018, after being together since 2011. She leaves behind her fur-babies- Wrigley, Rizzo and Maizel. She dearly loved them each of them deeply and considered them as her best friends.
Katherine was an avid Chicago Cubs fan from 3 years of age, as well as Miami Dolphins fan. She loved to travel, was committed to nurturing friendships, building furniture, creating art and she took great care and pride of her garden and yard care. Her adventurous spirit of travel will live on in all of those who knew her. She lived to experience different cultures, history, foods, architecture and had an undying love for animals.
Kat Stone is survived by her wife Holly Stone, their dogs Wrigley, Rizzo, Maizel, her father Lawrence Stone; Nieces Kiley and Vivian; Nephews Colby, Caden, and Colin; and her father-in-law Ronald (Gail) Keller, and mother-in-law Connie (Eric) Shaw.
She did not want a funeral or celebration of life. She wanted people to travel and experience everything life has to offer. We will continue to love her, miss her and we'll treasure the memories we shared with her.
