Kathi Lynn Ossery

Kathi Lynn Ossery, 75, of Melbourne, Florida, died at home of cancer on September 27th, 2026. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to George and Patricia Elkins and was their first-born child. Kathi graduated from Northside High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Kathi was preceded in death by her parents, George and Patricia, and her brother, George Elkins.

Kathi is survived by her siblings, Doug and Barb Elkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Debbie and Duane Ahrens of Bay City, Michigan; John and Denise Elkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Pam Yeater of Huntington, Indiana; Jim Elkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Rick and Jennifer Elkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Kathi is also survived by her daughters, Shawn Quickery of Palm Bay, Florida; Tammy Davis of Sanford, Florida; and Michelle Quickery of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, Logan and Jessica Davis, Erica and Kurt Yuhas, Mackenzie Quickery, and Macayla Quickery; her great-grandchildren, Harper Halladey, Link Davis, Addison Yuhas, Wren Davis, Mya Yuhas, Conner Presnell, and Benny Presnell; and several nieces and nephews.

Kathi cherished spending time with her family, especially sharing meals and having heartfelt conversations. One of her favorite activities was playing Bingo with her friends. She showed her love in many ways, especially through thoughtful gift giving and spending quality time with the people she cared about.

A celebration of Kathi’s life will be held on Sunday, October 18th, at 11:00 am. The venue is Pelican Beach Park, located at 1525 Hwy A1A, Satellite Beach, FL 32937. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and remember Kathi, share cherished memories, and celebrate the life she lived. Food will be provided, and all who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
