Born in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of Aletha Lee Leasure. She was employed with the Brevard County School Board for the last 5 years as a cafeteria worker, where many friendships and memories were made.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her animals. From Sunday dinners to holiday traditions, family is what was most important to her. Her love for all animals, big and small, is proven by her dedication to her fur babies and to the wild life around her home. Her front yard is an oasis for the local birds, squirrels, and raccoons. Bird feeders and wind chimes line the trees so that with every gentle breeze we know, she is with us. She will be remembered most for her witty personality and smile that could bring light to any room. She was one of a kind. Stern on the outside, yet loving on the inside. She cared for everyone she met. She had a true spirit of a giver with the purest heart.
She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, making memories they will never forget while teaching them important life lessons. All things spooky and Christmas were her favorite. Decorating for Halloween and Christmas with her husband is a family tradition that she took pride in every year. The yard was always lit up like a winter wonderland. We will always carry that tradition on in her honor. It was her life's purpose to make sure her girls were loved, cared for, and knew their self-worth. She found happiness and peace in knowing they would always have each other to lean on in times of happiness and grief. There will never be another like her, and we will have to lean hard on each other to help fill the void her passing has caused. She will forever be loved, missed, and cherished for the beautiful wife, momma, and grandma she was.
She is survived by her husband Charles, daughters Jessica Ferguson, Ashley Antonelli, Samantha Gross, son in-laws Michael Antonelli, Steven Gross, granddaughters Abigail Antonelli, and Juliet Ferguson. Pets Mavis, Hanna, Temperance, Lucy, Jack, and Stuart. Sisters Jeanie, Cheryl, Frannie, and Terry.
The celebration of life will be held at a later date and time
