Kimberly Pyle, was born March 26, 1958. Originally from Ohio, she moved with her family to California in the early 1970’s where she met and married the father of her children, William Pyle Jr. She is also survived by her long time partner of over 15 years at the time of her death named William Buckholts and they resided together in Palm Bay, FL. She was 66 years old at the time of her passing on July 1, 2024.
Her parents were George and Loretta Strain. They had a total of 3 children named Doug, Darla and Kimberly who was the youngest. She shared a close bond with her mother and loved her unconditionally. As she grew into an adult, Kimberly worked in different fields throughout her life and her experiences doing so were anything but boring. She worked as a clerk, property manager, caregiver for the elderly and was at one time a stay at home mom who took immaculate care of her family and home all while taking on the task of caring for a farm full of animals.
She loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats. Kimberly leaves behind 5 of her beloved dogs and a number of cats who already miss her very much. Her strong passion and bond with animals were passed along to her 3 daughters. Roxanne Kirkland, about to turn 40 in August, who lives in New Mexico. Michelle Strain, 37, is married to her husband Peter Rodriguez and they are residents of South Lake Tahoe, CA. They have a son named Will Pyle who is 14 years of age and Kimberly’s only living grandchild. Finally, Natalie Pyle is her youngest daughter at the age of 23 and has made a wonderful life for herself in Chicago, IL where she is going to school for psychology.
Kimberly was a Christian who believed in God. While she did not attend church regularly, she was a spiritual person with a strong faith to her higher power. Her loyalty was unmatched and she was a good friend to many, including her best friend Tatianna Steffl. Her generosity and kindness extended to all the people and animals she knew. A mother who never STOPPED loving her children, she brought 3 lives into the world and will be missed by her family and friends greatly.
She fought her battle with cancer privately and without complaint while living life on her own terms. Her strength is admirable to those who knew and loved her.
