7 years later I still think about pappy all the time. He was the man who showed me what love for your family should look like. One of the best examples I could have ever had to show me what family love feels like. He was a jokester, loving, and the best grandfather a girl could have asked for. 

I had the pleasure of working with Larry for many years out at the Cape. He was a good man. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Larry was a great man, I knew him as a teenager. Always super.

Larry was a genuine loving human being and a great friend.  Working with Larry in security at CCAFS was a pleasure and a privilege.  He was my hero in a time of trouble.  You are surely missed. My love to your family.

We all will miss a great man, husband, father and friend.  He was such a great person.  I love and respect him as a friend and brother (in-law).  I considered him a brother.  I just cant express in words of how it hurts to lose him.  Love you Larry.

Larry Soper was a good friend  we met him in Heidelberg Germany.Then in 1964 we met his Wife Fran.Had alot of good time and memories,we will miss then.

Our sympathies to Larry's family.  He was a good friend the short time we knew him.  We loved his sense of humor and we appreciate all of the things he did for everyone at VFW Post 4206.  The Lord has received a good man. We will miss him and will always remember his smile.  RIP,

My family will miss Larry, he was a dear friend to us for over 40 years.  We'll always have the fond memories of his family and mine spending lots of time together.  Our condolences to his family, may God bless you all and give you strength during this sad time.

Larry was a wonderful and special friend to me.  He had so many different sides to him, he could be very quiet when working his crossword puzzes, oh so funny when telling jokes, and pretend to be stubborn when he thought everyone was taking him so serious.  He will be dearly missed by all.  When at 4206 I will look up at the flag think of Larry with smiles and wonderful memories.
