Lilian was born in Havana, Cuba on August 19th, 1950. Lilian emigrated from Cuba to Caracas, Venezuela with her parents and her younger sister in 1961. She studied at “Colegio Teresiano” a Catholic school for girls, from Kindergarten to middle school both in Havana and in Caracas. She got her High School Diploma from “Colegio Americano” in Caracas and later she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 1991 she moved to New Jersey with her parents and later settled in Florida in 1993. Lilian worked as an Administrative Assistant in the banking sector and retired early to take care of her mother after her father passed away. Lilian never married.
Lilian was a person of deep Christian faith and a very caring human being. She took care of her mother after her father’s passing until she passed away last November at the age of 95. Lilian believed in the power of prayer wholeheartedly! If there was someone in need, she would always place that person in intentions in several group prayers all over the United States. Lilian was an avid reader, and she was passionate about understanding the healing powers of the mind. She was deeply fascinated by the connection between the spiritual and physical bodies.
She is survived by her sister Maria Elena Pozo de Fernandez, her brother-in-law Antonio Fernandez, and her beloved niece Cristina E. Fernandez.
