Born in Milford, Ohio, she attended Belmont High School. She later attended Rollins College, where she graduated with honors, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Accounting. She was employed by the Harris Corporation for over 15 years before she retired.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Melbourne, and a former director of Seniors vs Crimes Melbourne chapter. She will be remembered for her strong will, loving heart, and generosity.
She is survived by her husband Jim Souders, son Jared Souders and his wife Talie Souders, daughter Jamie Krabill and her husband Kris Krabill, and grandson Fulton Krabill.
A memorial service will be on held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Melbourne, 3301 Dairy Road, Melbourne, Florida 32901.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like a donation be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
