Luz Aguilar Dela Rosa was born on May 19, 1929 in Panganiban, Catanduanes, Philippines. She was the eldest of eight children born to Eulogio Vega Dela Rosa and Anatalia Villegas Aguilar. Eulogio passed away at the age of 60, leaving Luz to help her mother to care for her seven younger siblings. She passed away on July 6, 2016 at the age of 87. Five of her siblings survive her: Gloria, Joseph and his wife Alicia, Francisco, Pedro and his wife Rosario, and Dionisia. She was preceded in death by her brother Antonio and sister Maria.
Viewing hours are 4:00pm – 7:00pm Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909. Refreshments will be served during visitation hours.
A Funeral Mass will take place 11:00am Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 300 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32907. Entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay, Florida.
Following the entombment ceremony, the family invites all attendees to a reception held at the Fountainhead Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the family.
