Celebrating the life of Marguerite “KIT” Doolittle (May 9, 1924 – June 15, 2015) Marguerite “KIT” Doolittle departed this life for her eternal resting place Monday June 15, 2015. Marguerite was born in Arlington, Massachusetts to John Rooney and Irene (Young) Rooney. She moved to Florida in 1981. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald D. Doolittle in 2003. She was a faithful member of the Community Chapel of Melbourne Beach, FL. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, sailing and cruises. She was a former member of the Melbourne Yacht Club.
Marguerite will be mourned by her son Chris Doolittle of Melbourne, FL; her sister, Lois Quinlan and husband Jim of Boston, MA, close friends Carol Austin, Emily and Brandon Prevale, and John and Alda Butler.
