Marie Hulseart Marks

Marie Hulseart Marks of Sebastian, Florida passed away on September 7, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born on December 29, 1929 in Lakewood, New Jersey, the only child of John Joseph and Bridie (Fitzgerald) Hulseart. John was the only paid firefighter in the city of Lakewood and the family lived in the fire station throughout Marie’s childhood. When she was 21, Marie married Donald Leigh Marks. They retired to Sebastian in June of 1979. The couple celebrated 48 years of marriage before Donald’s death in 1999. Marie is survived by daughters Jean Marks of Boca Raton and Debbie Blankenship (Hedland) of Ormond Beach; grandchildren Gretchen Kriebel (Gary) and Reynolds Blankenship (Julie); great grandchildren Colin and Devin Kriebel; family friend Joseph White; and dog Sally Sue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 US 1, Sebastian, FL 32958 with entombment to follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
