Marilyn had her hands full and spent time as a homemaker and mother; but continued volunteering with PTA, Girl Scouts, Congregation Adath Jeshurun and the community. The family also enjoyed the rich culture of Philadelphia and surrounding areas, as well as playing challenging games and doing puzzles at home.
In 1968, Bert changed jobs and the entire family moved to Sunrise Ave. in Satellite Beach, FL. Marilyn continued her active involvement in the community with PTA, Girl Scouts, Brevard Association for the Advancement of the Blind – where she served on the Board, Sisterhood, Jewish Federation Board Member, several Conservative Jewish Congregations, including Temple Beth Shalom, Congregation Beth El (Treasurer) and Chabad.
