Mario Licitra

Mario Licitra, (90), passed away on (August 18, 2021) at (the Cleveland Clinic in Vero Beach, Fl.). He was the widower of Peggy Licitra who passed away on January 27, 1998. They shared 47 years of marriage together.

Born in (New York, NY), Mario was the son of Giovanni and Antonina Licitra. Mario attended New York City public schools and found employment in the garment industry where he worked his way up from sewing machine operator to production manager.

Mario was a communicant of Saint Sebastian parish in Sebastian, Fl. He enjoyed watching football and old movies and was skilled at doing crossword puzzles. Mario is best remembered for how he loved his wife, Peggy who remained the only love of his life.

Mario is survived by his four children John and his spouse Vivian, Michael and his spouse Lisa, Donna and Michelle and her spouse Jason. Mario is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, as well as his brother Emmanuel and his spouse Betty. Mario is predeceased by his beloved wife, Peggy, his parents Giovanni and Antonina and his companion, Esther Cardinale.

The family is holding a private service.
