Mary P. Cornell

Mary P. Cornell, 64, of Palm Bay, FL died Tuesday (2/12) in a local hospital. A native of Poughkeepsie, New York, she came to Palm Bay in March 2007 from Boca Raton, FL. Mary had been a Title Agent for the First Fidelity Title Company in Coral Springs. She was a Catholic and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #394 in Palm Bay. Her special loves were for her family and also for animals, especially her two dogs and also traveling.

Preceded in death by a sister: Peggy Anderson, she is survived by her husband: Jim; two daughters: Lory Ann Cornell of Margate, FL, Karen L. Cornell of Owego, NY; brothers: Joseph J. Davis of Poughkeepsie, NY, Thomas P. Davis of Pikesville, MD; grandchildren: James and Daniel Banfalvy of South, FL; Nephews: Eric J. Anderson of Orlando, FL, Kevin Anderson of Connecticut; and a niece: Jeanne Underwood of Hyde Park, NY. She will be missed by Bonnie Cornell, her Sister-in-Law, and the special friendship they shared.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Babcock St., Palm Bay, Saturday (2/23) at 1:00 PM. For friends who wish the family suggests memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at https://shop.stjude.org .
