Mary L. Russo, 92, of Melbourne, FL, died Sunday in Melbourne. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she came to the Melbourne area in 1971 from Brooklyn. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and had worked for the Brevard County School system in Food Service until she retired.
She is survived by her son: Joseph A. of Indialantic, FL; daughter: Joan A. (George) Baraket of Indialantic, FL; sister: Lucy Russo of Brooklyn, NY; six grandchildren: Weston Joseph Russo, Tyler James Russo, David Joseph Baraket, George Baraket, Jr, Marnie N. Baraket, Nicholas Joseph Holbrook; and several great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, 3/1. Entombment will follow in Fountainhead Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday (2/27) from 5 until 8 PM and Thursday from 5 until 8 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM Thursday evening. Fountainhead Funeral Home is in charge of services.
