Matthew was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He worked as a machine shop foreman until he retired. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lena Marzella, of Melbourne, FL; 3 sons: Nicholas(wife, Catherine) Marzella of Potomac, MD, Vincent(wife, Joanne) Marzella of Valhalla, NY and Frank(wife, Susanna) Marzella of Olympia, WA; daughter, Loretta Marzella of Melbourne, FL; 7 grandchildren: Matthew, Daniel, Anthony, Alexander, Jonathan, Jacqueline, and Julia; and 3 great-granddaughters: Megan, Allison, and Emma.
A visitation will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home Thursday (5/22) from 5-8PM with a funeral service at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Friday(5/23) at 10:30AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
