Miguel was born on June 21, 1955, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. He later made a life in New York City, where he proudly worked as a New York City Sanitation truck driver. Through his hard work, dedication, and commitment to his family, Miguel built a life filled with love, memories, and the people who meant the most to him.
Miguel was the beloved husband of Carmen Alicia Ortiz, with whom he shared a life filled with love and family. He was a devoted father to Raymond, Lourdes, Edwin, Eddie, and Jeannette. His greatest joy was his family, and he was a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and a loving great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren.
Miguel had a love for the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed playing dominoes and cards, watching wrestling, and listening to his favorite salsa music. He also had a true appreciation for good food and sweets and enjoyed trying and savoring all kinds of delicious foods. These were the moments that brought him happiness and created many cherished memories with those around him.
Miguel will be remembered for his strength, dedication, sense of enjoyment, and, most of all, the love he had for his family. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Though he is no longer with us, Miguel's memory will live on through the countless moments shared with him, the laughter around a game of dominoes or cards, the music he loved, the meals enjoyed together, and the stories that will continue to be told for generations to come.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
May he rest peacefully in the arms of God, surrounded by eternal love and peace.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
