Monto Carlo Henry (Cail) was born on November 8, 1956 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He was the second son of Anaira Michel Henry and Lucien Henry. He attended "Frere Andre" a primary catholic school and completed High School at "Lycee de Petion-Ville". He was a boy-scout during his childhood and a volunteer for Red Cross during his teenage years through his adulthood. He studied accounting, worked with his maternal uncle, Rockfeller Guerre at his Engineering Farm. In his late twenties, he immigrated to the U.S.A., he pursued his education in Air Craft Mechanics and graduated. He worked at Newark Airport but retired as an auto part salesman at Trucking International.
Carlo married Marjorie Declasse in 1995, however has known her and her family since 1975 as their mothers were friends. From his union to Marjorie was born their daughter, Carlyle T. Henry, but prior to his marriage, he had a daughter, Audrey Henry who is currently married to Jean Emmanuel Paret, they have two daughters, Alexa and Dominique. Carlo had two daughters and two granddaughters, never conceived a son, however his nephew, Ralph Charles, from his older brother Ulrick Henry, was the son that he never had. He cherished Ralph and his family and was the godfather of their younger child Maliyah. Carlo loved his family with a passion, his wife, his children, his nephews and niece, his adopted sister, Juliana, his friends, his pastors, his church and most of all God.
Although handsome, always well dressed in his suits, “beau parleur”, he was humble, down to earth, very friendly and jovial. He made it a point to make people laugh with his comedic attitude. He was a very sociable person who enjoyed gathering with family and friends. He was known in the community for helping so many people, he never said no to helping people. He was very skillful, a handyman, nothing was unknown to him in the house, electronic and mechanic. He had a passion for the things of music, art, literature, and theater. He loved travelling and made several trips around the world, particularly Europe, North Africa and the Caribbean.
Carlo was loved for his kindness and affection towards everyone, he leaves to mourn his wife Marjorie, his daughters, Audrey and Carlyle, granddaughters Alexa and Dominique, goddaughter Maliyah, his adopted sister Joujou, his nephews and nieces Ralph, Marjorie, James and Sheila, Chrystal, Tamyr, Tarric, his in-laws Jean Emmanuel, Varlene, Sito, Aser, Kay, Nicole, and Raymond, his other family members and friends Marie Alexandre, Marie Louis, Martha, Ketia, Mable, the Pierre family, Assad, Gai, Alexis, Cadet-Honore, Lavache, Lucas, Bruno, his church members and Pastors Mark and Evie.
