Born in Couva, Trinidad, he attended Oggles Commercial School where he learned short-hand typing skills. At the age of 21, he migrated to the United States. He found employment at several companies before working at JP Morgan and Chase Bank as a Security Clerk for 25 years. After retirement, he relocated to Palm Bay, Florida where he lived out his remaining years of life.
He was a member of Auxiliary Police in Cambria Heights Queens, New York and the president/member of the Palm Bay Lions Club in Palm Bay, Florida. He will be remembered for his love of music, traveling lifestyle, and his wittiness.
He is survived by his wife,Carol; his sons, Hollis and Les; his grandkids: Hakeem, Raven, Megan, SheIles, and Sheldon; and his great grandkids: Kamren, Karter, and Mason. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Studdard; his father, George Studdard, his brother, Rudolph Studdard; and his sister, Lenora Charles.
A visitation will be held on December 14, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909. The funeral service will be held on December 15, 2018 at 11am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 50 W. Strawbridge Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32901. The final viewing will be held from 10am to the time of the service.
