

Ophenia Cleopatra Brown, age 83, passed away on April 30, 2026. Born on May 3, 1942, in Sommerset, Jamaica, to parents Joseph and Rupersia, Ophenia’s life reflected steady strength, quiet grace, and a deep commitment to those entrusted to her care.
From an early chapter shaped by purpose and perseverance, Ophenia pursued nursing school earning certification as a certified nursing assistant. In this calling, her compassionate spirit and gentle presence found natural expression—marked by patience, honesty, and the kind-hearted attentiveness that brings comfort in both ordinary and difficult moments. Her hard-working dedication and thoughtful way of serving others stands as a lasting example to all who knew her.
Ophenia was beloved and cherished, not only for what she did, but for who she was: devoted, faithful, and loyal, with a generous heart and a steady wisdom that always offered reassurance and guidance. Her resilience and inspirational influence were felt in the lives she touched, and remembered in the calm strength with which she met life’s demands.
Ophenia is survived by a loyal dedicated husband; four loving and vivacious daughters; and other family.
Her memory will be held with enduring gratitude and respect, and her legacy will remain in the love she gave, the care she offered, and the faithful devotion that defined her life.
There will be a visitation held on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Fountainhead Funeral Home, located at 7359 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay, Florida.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Fountainhead Funeral Home beginning at 12:00pm, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm at the Eternity Gardens section of Fountainhead Memorial Park, located at 7303 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay, Florida.
