Pearlie Mae Benton was born September 13, 1921, in Baker County Georgia to the late Calvin Sr. and Lula Mackey. She departed this life on December 3, 2020 at the Indian River Opis Center in West Melbourne, Florida.
Pearlie Mae Benton was a member of the Saint James Baptist Church in Eau Gallie, Florida where she served on the mother board.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Benton Sr. and her son Robert Benton, Jr. and two daughters Susie Smith and Edith Pollard.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories:
Her children Shirley Freeman of Haines City, Charles Benton (Lillian) of Haines City, Otis Benton of Haines City, Lula Tomlinson (Alfred) of Melbourne, Janet Chambliss (George) of Haines City, 39 grandchildren, 85 great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Julia West of Miami, Florida and Carolyn Waiters of Camilla, Georgia and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
There will be a visitation held from 10:00-11:00am on Saturday, December 12 at Fountainhead Funeral Home with a graveside service beginning at 11am in Fountainhead Memorial Park.
