He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved working for the postal service and talked about it often! He was also a Lifetime Member of the American Legion Post 232 in Barnegat, NJ.
Ray loved his wife and his family, and spending time with them is where his joy came from. Every picture we looked at had him smiling, attending a party, or holding a baby! He enjoyed shopping with his wife and going out to lunch with family and friends. He always had a great sense of humor and quickly came up with witty remarks. He enjoyed watching baseball on tv and keeping his pool beautiful. He also liked researching things. Whatever one of us wanted or needed, he would research. And he loved keeping lists!
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rosemarie; his daughters Nancy, Renee, and Helene; his grandchildren Rob, Barbara, Jennifer, Amy, Larry, Billy, Kaitlyn, and Ryan; 11 great grandchildren (with one on the way); 4 great-great grandchildren (with one on the way); his sister Lillian; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is loved by many and already missed so much!
A memorial service for Raymond will be held Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909.
