

Richard was born October 9, 1955 in Miami, Florida and moved to West Melbourne, Florida at a young age. He worked as an auto mechanic and boat mechanic before receiving his Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors license. He was a lifetime NRA member, the North American Hunter and the American Legion. Richard loved to spend time with his family and friends, fish, hunt and spend time at his home in Lyons, Georgia.
He is survived by wife Carolyn Di Benedetto and youngest son Anthony Di Benedetto. Father and step-mother, Robert and Patricia Di Benedetto. Sister Susan Dumandam and fiance Terry Kinlaw. Sons Robert Di Benedetto and wife Samantha Di Benedetto, Eric Stromme and wife Liraz Stromme,

He is preceded in death by mother Marion Di Benedetto.
