Rikki Brianna Grace, 25, of Palm Bay, Florida passed away on October 18, 2022. Tragically, she succumbed to injuries sustained after being struck by a motor vehicle. She is the cherished daughter of Rick and Sherry Grace and loving sister of Brandon Grace.
Rikki grew up in Palm Bay, adored by all that knew her. She was the heart of her family, always coming up with adventures. She had an awesome sense of humor and loved planning elaborate pranks on family and friends. Rikki was very crafty and it was an honor to receive one of her hand made birthday cards. Rikki lit up every room she walked into with her smile. Her style was unmatched. She lived a holistic and naturopathic lifestyle and, through her ever positive nature, she motivated others to do the same. She strived to make exercise fun for others from hiking in the Smokey Mountains to just biking around the neighborhood. She also engaged in running, 5K’s and yoga.
Rikki attacked every milestone and goal in her life with passion and settled for nothing less than excellence. She graduated from Bayside High School in 2015 as a member of the National Honor Society and with an Associates Degree. She later went on to receive her Bachelors degree in Biomedical Science from Eastern Florida State College. She also completed certifications as a teacher and CNA.
She was a dedicated 3rd grade teacher at Imagine Elementary School in West Melbourne. She truly loved all her students and they her. She was a devoted member of the Elevation Church and invited many others to join in her gift of faith and joy.
Rikki freely gave her time toward volunteering for Girls On The Run, HALO No-Kill Rescue Shelter, Kohl’s Cares, and coaching young girls in cheerleading. She was everyone’s cheerleader and will be greatly missed.
Rikki is survived by her Uncle Scott Smith (MA), Aunt Tammy Hilton, Cousins Troy, Mariah and Alicia Hilton all of Palm Bay and Leah Grace McDonald (FL).
All are invited to share memories and leave a note of support below as it brings her family much comfort during this difficult time. Details of memorial arrangements are forthcoming.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations can be made to HALO No-Kill Rescue at halorescuefl.org in Rikki’s honor.
