You took a young lost soul and helped him become a man. You taught him a trade and gave him skills that would help him feed himself and live a productive life. You let him learn from his mistakes. You taught him discipline and direction. You taught him charity, grace and fortitude. You gave him the gift of a father that he never had. 

Not a day goes by I do not think of the gifts you gave me. No one can ever take them from me.
