Bob, I thought of you often wish we had stayed in contact. I will always cherish the times we spent on the Connecticut River racing up and down along the East Hartford banks in your 9' pram with that Merc screaming. We had some fun as kids which I have never forgotten.

Bobby, I really, really miss you.I know I'm suppose to be thankful that you're out of pain (and I really do know you were in a lot of pain),I wish we could have had a couple more months.I would have made you all the fudge and cookies you could have eaten.  Every single day, when I first wake up, I forget you're gone for a few minutes, and then my heart breaks all over again when I remember the truth.Then as the day goes on, I start remembering the special times. My bringing you cookies up to your crib when you were only 6 months old, and Mom never did figure out how all the crumbs got under your crib, where I brushed them. You and I hiding in the back of grampa's pickup so we could get down in the pits @ Riverside Race Track,and both of us getting caught when we were jumping up & down yelling because one of his cars had won.The fact you paid for my classsroom driver's training so I could get my license as soon as I turned 16, and then bugging me to take you w/me every time I left the house,which I never let you know that I was glad to. And too many other great memories to list here. I have to write a lot of them down for Robby & Jena, so they can know howvery special their special Uncle was. Bobby, I know your sister is going to miss you something awful..  You were her best friend.  I only know you throuh Dona, but she thought the sun rose and set in you.  She always said you never put her down, but you accepted her as she was.  I think that' what made you so loved is the fact that you acceted everyone the way they were.  I wish I could have known you personally.  I know I would have benefitted from that friendship, I send our prayers to Shirley, Dona. Ray & all his family for their loss.

Bob! 
Words really can not describe this time of pain and sorrow that everyone is experiencing at this moment of loss. Everyone loved so incredibly much, and i always think about how I did not get to come and say goodbye to you. You know I think back and remember all the times in barefoot bay when I would come over with meme after church. I would see you and play with kitty babe and shibley. I know everyone is having a hard time with you being gone, but what everyone knows is that you are in a much better place! You are no longer in pain anymore, but I just wish that you were here so that I could actually say goodbye one last time. I felt you the other night when you came and said good bye to me. I hope I get to see you again like that soon. I just cant say enough in this thing, but I am sure I will be back to visit again and write you some more. I love you! Creat lots of mayhem up in heaven ok :) and I will see you again! 
Bunky and everyone else I wish I could be there right now. I will get there as soon as I can. I know we all knew this was coming but it just seems like it was too quickly. I LOVE EVERYONE! I MISS YOU ALL!! I will be down soon I promise! Bunky you are very strong, and I know you can get through this. Everyone around you is there for you. I am always here too. My condolence to the Hood family.  I have fond memories of working with Bob at Eastern Tool in the 70's when Bob Sr., Don & my father Jack Griffith were there.  Bob was a very pleasant, nice person. My prayers are with you.
