Roger Allan Hammon, Jr., 51, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at William Childs Hospice House. Roger was born in Cleveland Ohio and moved to Brevard in 1968 with his family. He worked for Sea Ray Boats in Merritt Island for 18 years and more recently as a Sleep Disorder Technician with his wife Beth. Roger was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship in Melbourne and loved to golf in his spare time.
Roger is survived by his wife of 22 years, Beth, his step-sons Clay Deen and Matt Deen, his dad, Roger Allan, Sr., and his sisters Carla Thompson of New Jersey, Barbara Zingale of Cleveland, Pat Schison of Canada, and Sue Smith of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Hammon last year.
A memorial service will be held at 1p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2011 at Grace Christian Fellowship in Melbourne. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the William Childs Hospice House.
