Ruby was such a kind person. She was one of the first people from the Grant community to welcome me and my family to Grant. I purchase the Grant Grocery in December 1995 and Ruby would come by to make a purchase , usually for her grandchildren. She would take my ripe bananas that didn't sell. Than she would come by a few days later with homemade banana bread. It was delicious ! She will always be in my memories.

My sweet kind Aunt who never had a bad word for anyone. Ruby lived a life of a true Christian and had no need for material things. God and her family and her community was what she loved. Thank you Lana for taking care of ruby and seeing to everything she needed. Kathleen

Lillian Rasys and daughter Arlene Cadieux remember Ruby’s dedicated service to the 1916 Historical Bensen House Museum and her many hours as president, volunteer and fund raising organizer. I’m sure Ruby will be missed dearly by the Grant, Florida community.
