Rupert L. Crosby, 73, of Palm Bay, FL passed away Tuesday May 27, 2014. A native of Jamaica, Rupert moved to Florida in 2003 from Bridgeport, CT. He worked in Arnold’s Bakery as an equipment operator until retiring.
Rupert was very involved in his church, playing the piano and organ. He loved tennis and in his spare time, was teaching himself Spanish.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Crosby, in 2011.
He is survived by two sons: Robert Crosby of Boston, MA and Colin (wife, Debbi) Crosby of Berkeley Heights, NJ; 3 daughters: Jacqueline Crosby of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Diana Spencer of new Haven, CT and Debbie (husband, William) Sparks of Roswell, FL; brother, George Dalmadge; 2 sisters: Louise Crosbie and Icilda Crosby; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 10AM at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
