Russell L. Forney

He is survived by his two daughters, Marilynn and Debra; and granddaughter, Erica.

At 17 years old, Russell joined the United States Air Force and served for twenty years, retiring at 37. He did a bountiful amount of traveling while in the military. After retirement from the Air Force, he began working for the post office and stayed with them for fourteen and a half years in Columbus, Indiana. Being a simple man at heart, Russell enjoyed taking cruises with his wife, playing cards with friends, and spending time with his family. When babysitting Erica, he would hold her on his lap while they watched his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, together.

A visitation for Russell will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
