Sandra Bernice Fountain fondly known as “Sandy” passed away early Saturday morning. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the youngest child to Reese Bright and Bertha May Fitzer Bright. She spent her childhood growing up in Runnemede, New Jersey with her 4 siblings, Marjorie, Ruth, Marion and Bobby. She lived and worked most of her life in Gloucester County, New Jersey.
Sandy is survived by her daughter Holly (Anthony) Ferrari, her grandchildren, Desiray (Matthew) Field, Amanda Ferrari, Mario A Ferrari and Kelli Romero. 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Her cousin Joan Richards Ale, Ruth Bright, wife to her late brother, Bobby and nieces and nephews.
Sandy loved reading books, swimming, going to the beach, the movie theater, growing up in the 50’s, music and dancing but she truly loved children. She was a Nanny for 3 families for many years and she absolutely adored being a grandmother. She would have sleepovers, take the children to the movies, rollerblading, play board games and attend numerous Soccer and Lacrosse games. She will always be known for buying every Disney movie and Little Tikes that were ever made but most of all, she is noted for being the most loving, caring Mother and Grandmother anyone could ask for.
Sandy had a heart of gold; she would always be there throughout the years for her family and friends whenever they needed her. She always remembered everyone’s birthday and enjoyed sending heartfelt cards and giving thoughtful gifts. She will be forever in our hearts and memories for the loving, caring, selfless woman that she was. We know your dancing with the Angels.
