

Sharon is survived by her husband Bob, stepdaughter Amy (Brandon) Jordan, sister Sue Collins, stepsister Sherrill (Mark) Riley, stepbrother Bob (Gale) Dunning and grandson Wyatt Jordan and many nieces nephew and great nieces and nephews.
Sharon was born on February 11, 1951 in Aurora IL to Robert Baumann and Bessie Williams. They and Sharon’s stepfather Merrill Dunning preceded her in death.
Sharon graduated from West Aurora High in 1969. Shortly after that, she went to work at Western Electric in Montgomery IL where she met her husband Bob. They were married on July 18, 1979 in Charlotte Amalie on the island of St. Thomas in the American Virgin Islands. They resided in Oswego IL until January of 1990 when they relocated to Melbourne FL to be closer to family. Sharon Worked at Pier 1 Imports for 14 years where she enjoyed developing her creative talents. Sharon left Pier 1 and took a position with M.R.I. Global and considered her co-workers her second family. Sharon missed seeing these wonderful people every day. He smile was always genuine when she spoke of them. Sharon enjoyed decorating the office to whatever the current theme of the season was, be it Halloween, Christmas, Easter or NFL football.
Sharon loved all animals including her two kitties, Tai and Asia. One of her favorite animals was the Pandas. She had the opportunity to hold and feed breakfast to a 6 month old panda on a trip her and Bob took to China. A journey to the Mediterranean and recently a family trip to Alaska also reside in her passport.
Sharon also loved her Chicago Bears and indulging in her hobby---Shopping. Her fondness for T.J. Maxx was well known. Sharon loved life itself and always had a good word to say about everyone. She remained brave, iron-willed women and was loved by all who knew her.
A memorial will be held on Friday August 18 at 2:00 pm at the Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St. SE. Palm Bay FL 32909. A reception at her home will follow the memorial service and all are welcome.
The family would especially like to thank Wave Crest Rehab and health Center for the loving care and attentive treatment they showed her. We would also like to thank VITAS of Melbourne. There hospice program is second to none.
