Sofia Travieso

Sofia was born on September 28, 1935, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her husband Domingo, her children Nancy, Mario and Nilsa, her grandkids and great grandkids and her son Benny who proceeded her.

Sofia and Domingo were married for 45 years and enjoyed a beautiful life together. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Sofia was a woman of God and prayer warrior, always praying for others remaining faithful to her dedication to the Lord, making sure those around her felt loved and accepted. Until the end she enjoyed listening to church hymns, rejoicing in them and the messages they provided. She also enjoyed knitting and started at a young age. While her daughter and son in law were in the military, she enjoyed traveling the world, visiting them over seas twice. She loved to visit all her kids, giving her the opportunity to travel the United States. She lived an amazing life full of love from her family to her friends.

A visitation for Sofia will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 30, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
