Susan Hoeltzel, 92, of Barefoot Bay died Tuesday (3/26) in the Sebastian River Medical Center. A native of Frankfort, Kentucky, she came to the area in 1982 from Marshall, Michigan. She had been a waitress with Win Schuler in Marshall until she retired. She always stayed very active and enjoyed walking, swimming, and playing cards.
She is survived by her daughter: Pam Talamantez of Sebastian; son and daughter-in-law: Jack and Leslie Stinebaugh of Pentwater, Michigan; sister: Polly Mortensen of South Bend, Indiana; brother: Jim Burton of Roseburg, Oregon; and three grandchildren: Jack and Sarah Stinebaugh and Daniel Talamantez.
There will be a memorial service Friday (3/29) at 4:00 PM in Fountainhead Memorial Park near the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
