Thomas Alvin Goodwin, of Palm Bay, FL and long-term resident of Lockport, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, attended by his family.Thomas is survived by his wife, daughters, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Thomas was born in Kane, PA in 1931, graduating from Bloomsburg College. He was a Naval jet pilot and flight instructor for Marines and Marine Reserve.
Thomas earned his MBA from the University at Buffalo, taught at local schools, and retired after 18years as an Assistant Superintendent of the Medina BOCES. He was President of the Lockport Shrine Club (1973). Thomas trained standardbred horses and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
