She is a member of the Wesley Methodist Church. She also was a member of the auxiliary VFW club. She enjoyed going to dinner and the movies. She also enjoyed traveling to visit her family, walking the beach and collecting shells.
She is preceded in death by her brother, David Roschi and also a grandson, Jason Kobylinski.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Robert A. Strange of Melbourne, FL; A son, Michael Shaffer and his wife, Patricia from West Bath, ME; a step-daughter, Lynda Grondahl from Tucson, AZ; Step sons: Mark Grondahl and his partner LeeAnn Wood from Alachua, FL; Mike Flannery from Blacksburg, VA; Patrick Flannery from Palm Bay, FL and Robert Strange from Melbourne, FL . She is also survived by four grandchildren: Sadie Mirick, Jessica Masi, Max Grondahl and Dr. Ryan Kobylinski; and a sister-in-law, Nora Roschi. She also has several great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday (6/5) at 11AM at Wesley Methodist Church in West Melbourne.
