Vivian I Richmond

Vivian I Richmond, 91 of Barefoot Bay, FL passed away Monday 10/28/2013 at Sebastian River Medical Center. A native of Stamford, Connecticut, where she waitressed, worked in retail and played golf. Vivian moved to Florida in 1981.

Vivian worked as the head usher of St. Luke’s Catholic Church for many years, and was also very active in the Barefoot Bay community. Her most loved activities were golfing, being a member of the Rosetta’s dancers of Barefoot Bay, also known as “little Theater,” RV group, German club, square dancing, homemaker’s club, Moose Club, and also loved to play Bingo.

She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, John F. Richmond.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Kathy A. Richmond of Barefoot Bay; longtime companion of nearly 20 years, Robert “Bob” Powell of Barefoot Bay; 2 grandchildren: Heather Foster of Fairhaven, MA and Christopher Field of Vero Beach, FL; and 4 great-grandchildren: Brice, Ella, Rylee, and Logan.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov 16, at 10:00 AM at St. Luke’s Catholic Church and a reception will follow, also at the church.
