

William H. Fricke, 80, of Palm Bay, passed away peacefully surrounded by his entire family on August 12, 2014. Bill, a native of New York, spent 26 years serving our country in the United States Army and retired as the Senior Guidance Counselor for the State of Connecticut in the recruiting Command. Upon his retirement, he and the family moved to Florida and began his new career at Holmes Regional Medical Center where he retired as the Director of the Safety and Security Department.
Bill was a life member and twice Exalted Ruler of the Melbourne Elks Lodge, SECD Vice President and District Deputy twice. He was also a proud member of the Palm Bay Masons, the Azan Shriner Center in Melbourne, a life member of the American Legion Post #163 and the Loyal Order of the Moose #397.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marie; son, William(Adele); 2 daughters: Donna Ahles (Ken), Linda Folio (Richard); and three grandchildren: Kenny Ahles, Lauren and Samantha Folio.
The family will receive friends Monday (8/18) from 10-10:45AM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, followed by at funeral service to begin at 10:45AM.
