William Charles Park, 85, of Fellsmere, FL, died Monday (5/12) at Holmes Regional Hospital in Melbourne, FL. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina he came to the Fellsmere area in 2005 from Pompano Beach. William graduated from the UNC in 1952 and had served in the US Navy during the Korean War, stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. While he was in Pompano Beach he had been the Director of Swimming Pools and a Springboard Diving Coach. He had devoted his life to coaching and mentoring young people and also enjoyed Beekeeping.
William is survived by his sister: Sara Marley of Pfafftown, North Carolina.
Family requests no flowers or food.
