Yen Bou, 76, of Melbourne died Tuesday (4/9) in a local nursing home. A native of Cambodia she came to the United States and Melbourne in 1982 from there. She was of the Buddhist faith. She worked as a housekeeper for the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church for many years.. Her favorite things were family, baby-sitting the grandchildren and cooking.
Survivors include her husband: Chan Keo; on: Ken Keo of Melbourne; two daughters: Samantha (Michael) Conroy of Virginia, Im (Phillip) Keo-Kinder of Melbourne; brother: Thounn (Yon) Bou of Selma, Alabama; five grandchildren: Salking, Sokun, Vanna, Andrew, Juliana; six great-grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews.
Funeral services and calling hours will be Monday (4/15) at 3:00 PM in the Fountainhead Funeral Chapel.
