Betty F. Adams, 90, of Palm Harbor, FL formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Palm Harbor; Catholic Daughters of America; New Dorp High School Alumni Assoc. and she enjoyed golfing and bowling. She is preceded in death by her husband, William and 2 nephews, Robert and Thomas Hurley. Betty is survived by 2 sisters, Catherine Hurley, Jane Klee; 2 nieces, Karen Kidney, Barbara Yetman; 2 nephews, Timothy Hurley and Brian Hurley and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be at St. Luke’s Thursday, 9/20/2012 at 2:30pm and family will receive friends at church ½ hour prior. Burial will take place in Staten Island.
