Betty J. Weiss

Betty was born in Flint, Mich., to William and Alice Carley. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and was a proud member of St. Joseph and St. Luke Catholic Church. This devoted wife and mother was an expert seamstress, avid reader, and trophy-winning swimmer who enjoyed quilting and traveling with her husband.

She was preceded in death by a sister and leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of nearly 66 years, Francis Weiss; two sons, Christopher (Daniela) Weiss and William (Gina) Weiss; two daughters, Susan (David Bull) Knox and Joanne (Thomas) Schultz; a sister, Mary Ann Edic; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass in her honor will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at St. Luke Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
