Carol A. Severance Lemke

Carol M. Lemke, age 75 of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Brookside Hospice House in Palm Harbor. Carol was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She worked for many years in Food Service and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Palm Harbor.

Carol is survived by her her husband, Howard; sons, Ron Ruble (Corine) of Janesville, Wisconsin, Robin Ruble (Cathy) of Janesville, Rory Ruble(Connie) of Janesville, Mike Lemke(Patty); daughters, Leslie Sanchez (Emilio), Mary Skene (Bob),Michelle Santillo; brother, Russel Severance of Hedgesville, West Virginia; sister, Dana Huck of Racine, Wisconsin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol had a favorite poem called:

"Safe In God's Keeping"

I am Home in Heaven dear ones,

Oh! so happy and so bright!

There is perfect joy and beauty

In this Everlasting Light.

All the pain and Grief are over,

Every restless yearning past,

I am now at peace forever,

Safely Home in Heaven at last.

Dear one, do not grieve so sorely,

For I love you dearly still;

Try to look beyond earth's shadows,

Pray to trust Our Father's will

When your work is all completed, He will gently call you Home;

Oh! the rapture of that meeting!

Oh! the joy to see you come!

A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
