Frederick R. Pawlak, 63, of Palm Harbor passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 8, 2012. He was born in Buffalo, NY Thursday, August 19, 1948 to Alfred and Clara (Janas) Pawlak. He received his Master's degree in education from the State University of New York, Buffalo. Fred worked for Bethlehem Steel and General Motors in Buffalo and worked 34 years for JC Penney, retiring as a Regional Maintenance Manager; currently his was employed by Johnson Controls. Fred is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gail Powers Pawlak; a son, Richard (Lindsey) Pawlak; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Powers Pawlak and Victoria Ann Pawlak; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Mary Powers; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dick and Mary Powers; 2 sisters, Carol Bulera and LouAnn Pawlak.
