Gladys L. Simmons

Gladys L. Simmons, 89, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at home. She was born in Beloit, WI and moved here in 1965 from Monroe, WI. Gladys was a faithful member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Palm Harbor. She is preceded in death by her brother, Tom Casey; a sister, Dorothy Dudley; her husband, Wendell and daughter, Marcia Simmons-Lewis. She is survived by a son, Bruce; 2 daughters, Julene (Roy) Johnson; Patty Ann Simmons; a son-in-law, Charles Lewis; 6 grandchildren, Tamber Simmons, Casey Simmons, Krystal Simmons, Jenanne Johnson, Jason Johnson, Dane Lewis and 13 nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Hospice Green Team for their care and ask that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Suncoast Hospice. Gathering of Friends will Thursday, May 10th 6pm-8pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 2550 Highlands Blvd N, Palm Harbor and Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 11th, 10am at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2757 Alderman Rd, Palm Harbor, inurnment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater.
