John Michael Harty Jr.

of Oldsmar FL died December 29, 2012 at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor.

He was born in Chicago IL and has lived in Florida since 1977 coming from San Clemente CA. During his working years he was employed as a nuclear power engineer for Nuclear Utility Services in Clearwater, and also for Management Analysis Corp in San Diego CA. Mr. Harty was an Army Air Corps Veteran and served during World War II. He was an avid scratch golfer and was a member of the Northridge Country Club in Fair Oaks CA. In 1965 John made a hole-in-one on the 11th hole at the Northridge Country Club Golf Course.

He is survived by his beloved wife Joan E Harty and dear daughter Catherine M Harty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January 7, 2013 at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor FL. His final resting place will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Moss Feaster Funeral Home Palm Harbor Chapel, Palm Harbor FL (727) 562-2090.
