Lee DePue, age 66, left this world on April 24, 2013 ending his battle with lung cancer. LeRoy was born in 1946 in Paterson, New Jersey to LeRoy and Mildred DePue and became a big brother 13 years later to his brother Donald. He served his country in the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army for two years where he served as the crew chief for a medical evacuation helicopter unit in Korea. In 1968, after returning from the war, he married his high school sweet heart, Karen Goldner. They were happily married for 44 years. The family moved to Florida in 1982 where he had a lawn service for over 26 years. He enjoyed working on vintage Ford Mustangs, going to car shows, helping his family with projects, traveling and spending time with family and friends. LeRoy was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Karen, his two sons Brian and Jason, and his four grandchildren, Shelby, Jessica, Leah, and Luke. He will be greatly missed and no one will ever replace him. We love him. Visitation will be Monday April 29th 9-11am at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 2550 Highland Blvd. North, Palm Harbor, Florida. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell at 2pm Monday.
