in her home, at the age of 83.
Darlene was born on August 7, 1938. She would absolutely hate us for telling you her age! Her proudest accomplishment was to become a Physical Therapist and she practiced that for 41 years. It was her joy to be able to help others. The size of her heart was obvious by her desire to foster many, many children throughout her life. Even after fostering, she loved to help the children during Vacation Bible School at church in the summer.
Darlene's passions were her love of helping others, but singing, reading and dancing followed very close. She loved a night out dancing followed by a time of curling up with a good book. She enjoyed singing in choir and her time with the Harmony singers and other groups. She loved to play the piano, especially with her dad. Darlene was a spitfire, a firecracker, and she loved to squirrel away book, clothes, shoes, food and jewelry! Again, she would be telling us to mind our own business! She never minced words and you knew exactly where she stood on any subject. And, she was loved for that.
Darlene was predeceased by her mother, Bessie Mungall, her father, John Mungall Jr. her son, Louis Recheck, and her dear little baby, Danny. Darlene leaves behind Deborah Lang, Michele Rener, husband Mark Rener, Eric and Brian Rener and her fur baby, Scottie Ladd.
