Gustavo Diaz-Hernandez

Diaz and Maria Feliz Hernandez. Gustavo Diaz passed away peacefully with his loved ones by

his side on October 30,2020. He was survived by his devoted and loving spouse Emila Diaz

together they had 4 sons and 1 daughter. Jose Angel Diaz, Gustavo Diaz JR. Sergio Diaz, Juan

Noe Diaz and Kathleen Diaz. Together they had 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren ,

whom he loved dearly. He was survived by his brothers, Juan Manuel Diaz, Miguel Angel Diaz,

along with numerous nieces and nephews.Gustavo was educated in Mexico, enjoyed his career

as a landscaper from 1971-2015 when he retired. He had a green thumb for plants and flowers.

He enjoyed being outdoors with his horses and various animals. Every year he enjoyed preparing

his special Thanksgiving dinner for his loved ones.He was a great cook and enjoyed Ranchera

music and telling his famous stories about his childhood in Durango, Mexico. Gustavo was a

man of faith, he enjoyed praying the rosary and attended Catholic mass with his wife Emilia. He

was especially proud of becoming a United States citizen. Visitation will be Friday, November

20 , 2020 at Joshua Mortuary and Joshua Memorial Park. 808 East Lancaster Blvd. Lancaster

California from 9 am-11 am. The rosary will be at 11 am and the mass will be at 12 noon.

Gustavo fought a courageous battle, May he Rest in Peace. Please observe COVID precautions.
